The labor camps

The project "The places of forced labor and deportation in Italy during the Second World War" offers materials and information on the little-known history of forced labor in Italy during the Nazi occupation (the Todt Organization) and on the deportation to the Reich of civilians and military personnel for their exploitation as slave labor.

The website is aimed at schools and scholars, providing them with archival materials and biographies useful for creating traditional study modules or those based on new technologies (for example, the storymap.knightlab.com program).
